If you love bikes, banter and a good rummage through an autojumble, then clear your diary: NMM Live 2025 is rolling into the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull, on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October.
Entry to the museum is free all weekend, which is your first win — but there are a few tricks to making the most of it.
Get there early
The museum sits right by the M42, opposite the NEC at Junction 6, and the place fills up fast. Doors open in the morning and, trust me, you’ll want to be there sharpish if you fancy beating the queues for the autojumble or nabbing a decent parking spot. Bike parking is free, but if you’re in the car it’s £20.

Henry Cole and his mates from The Motorcycle Show will be there
Don’t miss the stars
On the main stage you’ll find Henry Cole, Allen Millyard and Guy “Skid” Willison from The Motorbike Show, spinning yarns and firing up some very special bikes — including the Norton Nemesis. Add road-racing royalty like John McGuinness and Jenny Tinmouth, and you’ve got a weekend packed with hero moments. Bring your questions; they’re a friendly bunch and the Q&As are usually gold.
Autojumble tactics
This year there’s a brand-new indoor autojumble, which means no rain-soaked rummaging. If you’re after rare parts or quirky memorabilia, head straight there before the best bargains vanish. Pro tip: bring cash as not every trader will take cards.
Food, fuel and refreshment
The museum has cafés for your bacon sarnie and tea fix, but if you’re after something heartier, there are plenty of pubs within a short ride. With so much going on, a mid-day break is a smart move — otherwise you’ll run out of steam before the last engine fires up.

BSA will be offering test rides on its new retro bikes.
Make a day (or two) of it
Even without the extra events, the museum’s five halls — packed with over 1,000 British bikes — are worth a slow wander. Spread your time between the displays, stage shows and trade stands, and you’ll easily fill a full day. Do both days if you can; Saturday is usually busiest, while Sunday has a more relaxed feel.
Bottom line: whether you’re hunting spares, chasing autographs or just soaking up the atmosphere, NMM Live is one of those weekends that reminds you why we love bikes. See you there.
