DESCRIPTION:The Great Malle Rally is the longest motorcycle rally ever hosted in the UK. 1500 beautiful miles from the Southern tip of England to the very Northern tip of Scotland. An ‘inappropriate’ motorcycle rally for custom\, classic\, cafe-racer\, chopper\, modern classic and scrambler motorcycles (which is most of them). \nNow held over 6 stages/days\, the new 1500 mile rally route carves a unique path across the most beautiful landscapes\, mountains\, coasts and valleys in Great Britain\, mainly on tiny B-Roads. On each day the rally teams are given the 5 rally checkpoints to guide the teams along our route\, with our marshals timing and followed by our rally engineers and support crew. \nAll riders camp under canvas in our luxurious rally belle tents\, with the riders briefing and the dinner in the rally camp. Our private chefs cook up a storm in the rally camps each evening\, with hearty breakfasts and a riders lunch – we provide all food throughout – the only thing not included is fuel and drinks. \nEach rider is given their own exclusive limited edition ‘Malle Rally Duffel’ and their ‘Malle Rally Kit’ with their rally numbers on it all – so that all luggage is waiting at camp for riders. We transport what you can fit in your Malle Rally Duffel (65cm x 30cm x 30cm)\, anything else would need to be strapped to the duffel\, or carried by the rider on their motorcycle.

After years of riding motorcycles\, he took up racing in Jaguars and Shelby Mustangs\, most recently racing a Coyote Corvette Daytona prototype. Throughout the years\, Adam has enjoyed racing at notable international circuits celebrating the art of vintage motor sport\, including Goodwood\, Le Mans Classic\, the 6 Hours of Spa\, Tour Auto\, and the Monaco Historic Grand Prix. A skilled competitor\, Adam has garnered several podium wins at Daytona and Sebring\, where he has raced in the HSR/IMS prototype class. His enthusiasm for fast motorcycles and cars continues to flourish\, as evidenced by the remarkable motorcycles presented in this unique collection. \n“These motorcycles represent some of my all time favorite two-wheeled fantasies\, and each bike in this collection exhibits something special and unique\, whether it remains in unrestored condition or has a special provenance\,” said Lindemann. “I’ve enjoyed riding every single one of them\, and to me\, they are not only mechanical objects\, but some of the most exhilarating motoring experiences one can have. These important examples will live on forever with me and without me. I am happy to have been able to enjoy them.” \n“These 13 motorcycles embody Adam’s deep passion for collecting and exhibit his astute appreciation for exceptional pieces. His meticulous sensibility comes through in all areas of his collecting\, whether it’s an Alexander Calder or a 1970s Ducati\,” said Gooding & Company President and Co-Founder\, David Gooding. “Collectors of vintage motorcycles will certainly be tempted by the significant provenance\, unparalleled originality\, and incredible history of these bikes representing some of the most important names in this arena\, including Ducati\, Moto Guzzi\, MV Agusta\, Laverda\, and Triumph.” \n \nHighlights from the Adam Lindemann Collection The frontrunner of the collection is a 1974 Ducati 750 Super Sport ​​(Estimate: $140\,000 – $180\,000\, Without Reserve)\, a highly original example that belonged to the late Guy Webster\, one of the most famous rock ‘n’ roll photographers of all time whose seminal work included early photography of The Rolling Stones\, The Doors\, Bob Dylan\, and The Beach Boys. Webster was known for his Italian motorcycle collection\, and this 750 Super Sport was one of his most prized possessions. This example has never been comprehensively restored and retains an evocative\, irreplaceable patina and countless rare hallmarks of originality. It has been sparingly used\, showing under 18\,000 kilometers when catalogued. \nAlso offered is an unrestored 1974 Ducati 750 Sport (Estimate: $30\,000 – $50\,000\, Without Reserve) and a 1986 Ducati 750 F1 Montjuich (Estimate: $20\,000 – $30\,000\, Without Reserve)\, one of only 200 produced and showing just 2\,334 miles at the time of cataloguing. A gorgeous\, low-mileage 1991 Ducati 851 SP3 (Estimate: $20\,000 – $30\,000\, Without Reserve) also joins the sale. The 851 SP3 was one of the last super high-performance bikes Ducati ever built before it made the transition to a mass-production manufacturer; this example showed just 2\,884 miles when catalogued and joined the Adam Lindemann Collection from an Italian motorcycle collector in Connecticut. \nOther Italian offerings include a 1971 Moto Guzzi V7 Sport ‘Telaio Rosso’ (Estimate: $30\,000 – $50\,000\, Without Reserve) purchased by Mr. Lindemann over 25 years ago out of a classic motorcycle magazine. This V7 Sport is likely one of the best\, unrestored examples of a ‘Telaio Rosso’ in existence. A 1973 Moto Guzzi 850 Eldorado Police (Estimate: $12\,000 – $15\,000\, Without Reserve) equipped with a siren and lights\, as well as an incredibly rare and exotic 1975 Magni 750 MV Agusta (Estimate: $70\,000 – $90\,000\, Without Reserve)\, are also presented for the auction. An incredibly rare first-year 1971 Laverda 750 SFC (Estimate: $70\,000 – $100\,000\, Without Reserve) is also offered in remarkably original condition and is considered by marque experts to be one of only a handful of unrestored examples in existence as one of the finest of all Laverda SFCs. \nAdditional international motorcycles from the collection include a 1973 Egli Honda 750 (Estimate: $30\,000 – $50\,000\, Without Reserve) purchased by Mr. Lindemann from the Egli Museum collection\, as well as an early production\, Japanese specification 1988 Honda VFR750R RC30 (Estimate: $30\,000 – $40\,000\, Without Reserve) presented in gorgeous condition with extremely low mileage. An extraordinarily original and low mileage 1965 Dunstall Norton Atlas (Estimate: $25\,000 – $35\,000\, Without Reserve)\, an outstanding 1975 BMW R90S (Estimate: $10\,000 – $15\,000\, Without Reserve) in desirable Daytona Orange\, and a 1977 Triumph Bonneville ‘Sonny Nutter’ Street Tracker (Estimate: $8\,000 – $12\,000\, Without Reserve) are also on offer.
